I am a late sleeper. A very late sleeper; keeping at it till the wee hours.
So imagine my annoyance upon being woken up by the extremely shrilly natural cuckoo clock by my Bedroom window.
The offender is this shy Cuckoo Bird with red eyes and shiny black feathers, sitting atop the Indian Gooseberry tree.
How do you get angry at a marvellous creature such as this? Sleep be damned.
